MijoFTP 1.1 released

Hi all,

I'm proud to announce the immediate availability of the lightweight Joomla File Manager component, MijoFTP. This is a security release which fixes a high priority backdoor vulnerability and makes MijoFTP a native Joomla component.

Security Alert

MijoFTP and it's previous version AceFTP works as an iframe by running a 3rd party script inside. However, this kind of work causes a high level security issue so we immediately acted and after a hard work we made MijoFTP working as a normal/native Joomla component, not iframe/bridge.

Of course that we can't say anything for AceFTP as it's not maintained by us anymore.

If you're already using MijoFTP then you must urgently upgrade to the new version as your site may get hacked. Thanks God that MijoFTP was not downloaded too much, about 50 times.

What about your other extensions?

We can easefully say that non of the other extensions made by us are affected by such an issue as all of them works as a native Joomla component, not iframe/bridge.
