MijoShop 2.3 released, Extension Installer

I'm happy to announce a new version of the leading Joomla Shopping Cart component, MijoShop. In this release we've added new features such as Extension Installer and Realex payment gateway.

     

Extension Installer

This was the most wanted feature from our members, to install MijoShop/OpenCart extensions from the back-end instead of FTP. Now you can just upload the ZIP file and upload it from the "MijoShop => Extensions => Extension Installer" page. The installer must contain an "upload" folder with the files to be uploaded. It's not only a file uploader, the extension can also run an SQL and/or PHP file during the installation. The installer does also show the files that will be overwritten, in case there is any, before it runs the extension.

Content Plugin

We've update the content plugin so that now you're able to show the products options, select the default value for them and show/hide them from showing up. This feature will boost your sales by embeding products into different pages.

Realex Payments

A new payment gateway comes into this release, Realex. Realex Payments is one of Europe’s largest and fastest growing online payment gateways, providing a range of payment processing services for businesses selling online and processing payments throughout Europe. We've added the Realex Redirect and Realex Remote features in this this release.

RSMail integration

This release does also include a new plugin for the integration tab, RSMail component. You can add/remove a customer to/from a specific RSMail list whenever he/she purchases any product.

Migration from EShop

We've added a new migration tool so you could now easily migrate all of your products, discounts, categories, manufacturers and images from EShop component to MijoShop.

JoomlArt template club has just released another responsive template for MijoShop, JA Decor. Here you can find the details.

Bug Fixes

Lastly, we've fixed a couple of bugs and made some vQmod updates.

How to upgrade to MijoShop 2.3

Very simple, check this article plz. Even we use a dedicated server, the automatic upgrade may fail sometimes due to the high load. You can use the manual upgrade in such a case. As always, don't forget to take a back-up before upgrading.
