MijoEvents 1.3 and MijoVideos 1.1 released

Here we are with two new releases for MijoEvents and MijoVideos components. MijoEvents comes with the most wanted feature, event registration without MijoShop while MijoVideos adds JW Player, Flow Player and upload from server.

      

Event registration without MijoShop

The most asked question from our members was the ability to register to free events without having to go to MijoShop. In this release, MijoEvents ships with this feature, all you have to do is to enable an option from MijoEvents => Configuration page. We've also added an option to pass the first attender details to MijoShop so the visitor won't have to re-enter them after going to the checkout page.

RSS feeds and captcha

This release of MijoEvents comes with the RSS feeds option, per category. We've also implemented reCaptcha to the attender registration page.

Bulk import from server

MijoVideos comes with an outstanding feature, bulk import of videos from server so you can prepare the videos locally, upload them to your site via FTP and let MijoVideos import them to the system within a couple of clicks. All is done using Ajax technology.

Watch Later and Flash

Just like with YouTube, we've added the "Watch Later" button to the VideoJS player. We've also added Flash support so that you can now also use video files with .flv extension.

JW Player and Flow Player

As we introduced MijoVideos, we said the VideoJS is the best. However, we have members familiar with JW and Flow players so we've implemented these players into this release.

How to upgrade?

Very simple, plz, check this article for MijoEvents and this one for MijoVideos. Even we use a dedicated server, the automatic upgrade may fail sometimes due to the high load. You can use the manual upgrade in such a case. As always, don't forget to take a back-up before upgrading.
