MijoShop 2.2 released, Desktop App

I'm happy to announce a new version of the leading Joomla Shopping Cart component, MijoShop. In this release we've continued improving MijoShop by adding new features such as desktop app and multi-language alias.

Desktop App (Store Manager)

The bombastic feature of this release, management of MijoShop from your desktop. This is a unique cutting-edge desktop application designed to simplify and automate routine day-to-day operations over online store. With this easy-to-use application you get an opportunity to quickly and efficiently manage your products, categories, manufacturers, customers, product options, orders and more. Work the way you want and make new things possible.

This application is written by eMagicOne company which has been making such applications for a long time for other ecommerce systems such as Prestashop, Magento etc. We've been collaborating with them for about 2 months to make such an application available for MijoShop too and we're happy to have it done.

You can manage unlimited domains/stores with one license from one desktop!! It will incredibly simplify the management of your stores from 1 interface.

How to get it? We've made an agreement with eMagicOne guys so that MijoShop users could get it with a lower price (-$20) from our site. You should firstly purchase it then we will manually (working on the automatic way) automatically create the licence and send it to you. Zoo application

A new integration with Joomla components. This application offers you the possibility to introduce your products from Zoo and sell them from MijoShop. Zoo is a free component which has it's own flexibilities and is supported by most of Joomla template companies.

Multi-language and unicode aliases

This was one of the most wanted feature from our members that build multi-language stores. By default, OpenCart does not support multi-language alias and SEF URLs. With this release, we're going beyond OpenCart by adding such a critic feature into the core of MijoShop.

Amazon Payments

We've implemented a new payment gateway, Amazon Payments, which makes shopping on your website even easier. Complimenting your existing payment options, Amazon customers can use the delivery and payment information in their Amazon accounts to complete purchases on your site in just a few clicks.

Enable/Disable buttons

As we started with MijoShop 2.0.2, we're continuing with new toolbar buttons. This release includes Enable/Disable buttons for countries and zones.

Bug Fixes

Lastly, as you can see from the changelog, we've fixed tons of bugs in this release. Almost all of them are still available in the standalone version of OpenCart so I hope you can see the point of our decision made with MijoShop v.2 here.

How to upgrade to MijoShop 2.2

Very simple, check this article plz. Even we use a dedicated server, the automatic upgrade may fail sometimes due to the high load. You can use the manual upgrade in such a case. As always, don't forget to take a back-up before upgrading.

Hey Denis,

Looks good ... just wondering how this works when you have a computer at the office and a laptop for when you are out and about (or travelling)?

Even adobe allow one install on desktop and one on laptop (or work/home) ... do you know what they do/don't allow?

Almost all of my eCom datasync headaches occur from clients with Macs - play on a mac, run a business on a pc :)

Thanks for the fast reply Denis .... good to see the secondary license is less :)
... and the license is a one payment lifetime license? That's pretty awesome value - good stuff :)

... now to go and try and run it on my client mac !!! grrr... let's wait and see ... assuming it should working in windows mode?
... that's how most mac users work anyway LOL ;p
